Baseball's Coolest

Ippatsu Kanta-kun" is a 1977 anime produced by Tatsunoko Production that tells the story of the Tobase family—comprising a mother, six sons, two daughters, and their pet dog, Jubei, who’s known for his baseball skills. The family forms a recreational baseball team called the "Homers," and through games and practice sessions, they strengthen their familial bonds.

The series features the mischievous yet clumsy third son, Kanta—the warm-hearted, justice-driven protagonist—and Jubei, a dog who not only speaks human language but also defends the Homers’ right field.
